During this time he spoke in detail the contribution of Indian culture, traditions, freedom fighters and women power. He also informed that the government will be included in the list of Chhath Mahaparva in the list of UNESCO.

Prime Minister Modi said that this 100 -year -old visit of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is not only important but also inspiring. He reminded that our country was stuck in the British slavery when the RSS was established a hundred years ago. This long -time slavery hurt our confidence and self -respect and created inferiority complex among the people. Therefore, along with the freedom of the country, it was also necessary that the country should be free from ideological slavery. For this purpose, K B Hedgewar established the RSS in 1925.

The Prime Minister said that Guru Golwalkar carried forward the mission of this national service. He said that selfless service and discipline are the real strength of the Sangh. For the last 100 years, RSS volunteers have been continuously engaged in service to the nation. Whenever a natural disaster comes, the RSS volunteers first reach there and the spirit of the nation is seen in every work.

Referring to Navratri, PM Modi said that at this time we worship Shakti and celebrate women power. He also mentioned the women’s naval officers, Lieutenant Commander Dilna and Lieutenant Commander Rupa, who showed courage and adamant resolutions in the saavika Sagar Parikrama. He said that our festivals keep our culture alive. The sun sets in Chhath Puja is honored by offering arghya. This festival is now being celebrated not only local, but globally. The Prime Minister said that the government is trying to include Chhath Mahaparva in UNESCO’s abstract cultural heritage list. When it is included, people in different parts of the world will be able to experience the grandeur and divinity of this festival.
