So far, more than 11 lakh suggestions have been received in the ‘Samarth Uttar Pradesh-developed Uttar Pradesh 2047’ campaign. Most participation from rural areas, the most emphasis on education and agricultural sector. The government will prepare a vision document with the public opinion and make the future roadmap.

Uttar Pradesh, once known only for politics and tradition, has now set out on a new journey of development and innovation. The ‘Samarth Uttar Pradesh-Developed Uttar Pradesh 2047’ campaign, which is under the direction of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is making a document to create the future of the state afresh. This campaign has not only made the general public a part of the Vikas Yatra, but has also given a unique opportunity to directly include the voice of the people in the schemes and policies of the state.

More than 300 enlightened dialogues in 75 districts, excited people

Under this campaign, nodal officers and enlightened people are directly communicating with the public in all 75 districts of the state. Students, teachers, businessmen, farmers, voluntary organizations, labor unions, entrepreneurs and common citizens are making their opinion. This is the reason why more than 11 lakh suggestions have been received so far.

The highest suggestions, education and agriculture from rural areas were priority

About 8.5 lakh suggestions have come from rural areas, while 2.5 lakh suggestions have been recorded from urban areas. The highest number of people in the age group have given their opinion, but youth and senior citizens also showed active participation. Along with education, agriculture and rural development, ideas related to health, social welfare, IT-technology and industry also came up in large numbers.

Maharajganj, Sambhal and Gorakhpur top, most suggestions

The districts that have received the most suggestions include Maharajganj, Sambhal, Kanpur Dehat, Sonbhadra and Gorakhpur. In contrast, Santakbirnagar, Etawah, Ambedkarnagar, Firozabad and Shamli were relatively behind.

Citizens kept concrete suggestions: from IT hub to fisheries village

  • Aaradhya Singh of Ballia suggested that IT hubs should be created on the lines of Noida in Tier-2 cities of the state. This will create employment in areas like AI, robotics and cyber security.
  • Vivek Maurya of Bhadohi suggested that instead of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, agro -based industries should be set up in every block and district.
  • Mahesh Sahani of Maharajganj proposed ‘Adarsh ​​Matsya Palan Gram’. It asked to set up modern fisheries, shrimp processing plants and water quality laboratories.

Document of ‘developed Uttar Pradesh 2047’ will be made with public opinion

The state government will analyze all these suggestions and create a vision document of ‘developed Uttar Pradesh 2047’. This document will be the basis of future schemes of the state and will clarify in which direction the UP will move in the next two decades in the field of education, agriculture, technology, industry and employment.
