Bilaspur News: CM Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated the newly built Saraswati College building in Koni, Bilaspur. In the honor ceremony of Vidya Bharati, 24 meritorious students were honored and emphasized on giving new direction to education.
Raipur. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that Vidya Bharati institution is playing a special role in furthering the culture and tradition of India. He called upon the students to play their active role in nation building and pride.
Inauguration of Saraswati College building in Bilaspur
Chief Minister Shri Sai reached the Saraswati Shishu Mandir complex in Koni of Bilaspur and inaugurated the newly built Saraswati College building there. On this occasion, 24 meritorious students selected from 33 districts of the state were honored at the grand honor ceremony organized by Vidya Bharati. At the same time, students who excelled in cultural activities and festivals were also rewarded.
Chief guest and dignitaries in the program
The function was presided over by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw. Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu, Higher Education Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma and School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav were present as special guests. Bilha MLA Mr. Dharamlal Kaushik and Takhatpur MLA Mr. Dharmajit Singh also specially present on the occasion.
Inauguration of building with worship
The Chief Minister and all the guests duly offered prayers to the newly constructed college building. After this, the Chief Minister greeted Sharadiya Navratri at a ceremony held at Lakhiram Sabha Bhavan. He said that students are increasing the pride of the state due to hard work, discipline and rites. The new college is a symbol of building education and expansion of knowledge, which will give a new direction to the society.
Higher education and technical opportunities
The Chief Minister said that Saraswati College has signed MoUs with Guru Ghasidas University and ISRO, Bengaluru. This will give students more opportunities in higher education, research and technical fields. Also, the study center of Pt. Sundarlal Sharma University will also start here.
He said that the state government is giving the highest priority to education. Under the National Education Policy, students are being provided modern facilities like education, skill training, hitech library, robotics and artificial intelligence in local language. He called upon the students to move forward with determination and hard work for society and nation building.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw said that Vidya Bharati institution is doing the work of giving rites with education. He appreciated the efforts being made by the institution to save the knowledge tradition and Indian culture.
Achievements of Vidya Bharati
Vidya Bharati’s Provincial Organization Minister Shri Dev Narayan spoke about the ideology and functioning of the institution. He said that the institution has so far established three colleges in Chhattisgarh and is conducting seven projects. More than 1,100 schools are employed under Gram Bharti Yojana. Through these institutions, Indian culture and tradition are being transported to the new generation, which is preparing dedicated and qualified students towards the nation.

On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Mayor Mrs. Pooja Vidhani, CREDA President Mr. Bhupendra Sawni, Saraswati Education Institute Chhattisgarh President Shri Ram Bharma Soni, Chairman of Saraswati Village Education Committee Mr. Ratan Chandrakar, President of Saraswati Shishu Mandir Koni, Mr. Muneshwar Kaushik, Secretary Shri Santosh Tiwari, Mr. Brijendra Shukla, Shri Puranandan Kashyap, Shri Rampal, Shri Rampal, Shri Sujit Mitra, Shree Sujit Mitra, Shree Sahu, Shree Sahu, Shree Sahu, Divya Chandel, Director, Acharya/Principal, students and a large number of dignitaries attended. In the program, young children gave attractive cultural performances, who captivated the people present.
