as revealed by producer Arunabh Kumar, is about Bihar’s Van Devi temple. Located in Bihta, the temple doesn’t have an idol; a sacred pind is worshipped by the locals. While there is no evidence of a supernatural presence in the forest, locals believe that people must not enter the temple after sunset. Bihta, wrapped in lush green, is home to many mysteries. According to the popular myth, once the temple doors close after sunset, even the priest leaves. It is believed that Maa Van Devi enters the forest for the protection of the residents.

Local folklore holds that the temple has a connection with Maa Vindhyavasini of Vindhyachal. It is said that a devotee named Vidyanand Mishra worshipped her religiously at Vindhyachal. But the travel got difficult as he aged. To ease his pain, the goddess reportedly appeared in his dream and guided him to bring a portion of her ‘pind’ to his village. He followed her instructions and built a temple near his village by placing the pind inside a hut. Over the years, she gained the identity of Van Devi.
