This month is for worship, bathing, charity, chanting, meditation etc. A lot of virtue is gained by doing these things in Malmas. Tulsi puja in Malmas is also considered very beneficial.

Tulsi is very dear to Lord Vishnu. In this month, a special remedy of Tulsi must be done in the evening. By adopting this remedy the financial condition becomes stronger.

Do this remedy in the evening

In the month of Malmas, offer water mixed with milk to Tulsi in the morning. After this, light a lamp of cow ghee near the plant in the evening. Keep some Akshat under the lamp. While lighting the lamp, keep chanting the mantra ‘Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevay’. According to beliefs, by doing this remedy in the evening during Malmas, Goddess Lakshmi resides permanently in the house.

Offer this thing to Tulsi in Malmas

On any day of Malamas (except Sunday and Ekadashi), after taking bath in the morning, take clean water in a copper pot and mix a little raw milk and a pinch of turmeric in it. After this, offer this water to the Tulsi plant while meditating on Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu. By doing this remedy in Malmas, Jupiter gets strengthened. Due to this, wealth starts increasing.

Pay special attention to these things

Do not touch the Tulsi plant even by mistake on Sunday and Ekadashi nor offer water to Tulsi during these days. If the Tulsi plant has dried up in the month of Malamas, remove it and plant a new plant. It is believed that dried basil plant causes Vaastu defects.
