Shanaka’s innings helped the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots post 235/4 in 20 overs, and they won the match by 137 runs. The 34-year-old, who has represented Sri Lanka in 6 Tests, 71 ODIs and 131 T20Is, broke the previous CPL record of 40 balls that had been jointly held by Russell, Seifert and Hetmyer.
