In Karur, Tamil Nadu, 38 people died due to a stampede at a rally of actor -turned -leader Vijay. On this incident, Vijay said, “My heart is broken, I am suffering from pain.” He expressed condolences to the families of the deceased.
Tamil nadu stampede: There was a stampede at the rally of TVK (Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam) major Vijay at Karur, Tamil Nadu on Saturday. Due to this, 38 people have been killed. Dozens of people have been injured. After the accident, actor -turned -leader Vijay said that his heart was broken. He is feeling unbearable pain. Vijay was holding an election rally as part of the preparations for the next year’s assembly elections.
After the stampede, Vijay posted on X, “My heart is broken. I am suffering from unbearable pain and sorrow. It cannot be described in words. I express my deep concept and sympathy to the families of lovely brothers and sisters who lost my life in Karur. I pray for the early health of the people undergoing treatment in the hospital.”

At least 38 people, including women and children, died in a stampede in Karur. Many people fainted due to the huge crowd in the rally. Due to this, Vijay stopped his speech. He ended his rally after a stampede.

About an hour before breaking the silence on this tragic incident and posting a message to his supporters, Vijay was seen out of the accident site at Trichy Airport. Earlier, DMK spokesperson Saravanan Annadurai strongly criticized Vijay’s silence. Questioning Vijay’s whereabouts and accountability, the DMK leader said that Vijay and the rally organizers are responsible for this tragedy.
