In Hastinapur, Shri Krishna proposed to give only five villages from the Kauravas to the Pandavas.
Dhritarashtra also agreed with Shri Krishna and started convincing Duryodhana to avoid the war by giving 5 villages to the Pandavas. He explained to his son that he should give up his stubbornness and make a treaty with the Pandavas so that this disaster could be avoided. Duryodhana got angry and said that I will not give even an iota of land to those Pandavas and now the decision will be taken only through war. So let us tell you which are those villages which the Pandavas refused to give to the Kauravas.

Now there is a place in Delhi called Indraprastha, where there is an old fort. It is believed that Indraprastha of Pandavas was at this place.
During the Mahabharata period it was called Vyaghraprastha. Vyaghraprastha means where the tiger lives. Many tigers were seen here hundreds of years ago. This is the place for which Baghpat was best known since the Mughal period. This is a district of Uttar Pradesh. The place in Baghpat, where the Kauravas had conspired to burn the Pandavas by building Lakshagriha. The population of Baghpat district is more than 50 thousand.
Sonipat was earlier called Swarnprastha, later it was changed to ‘Sonaprastha’ and it became Sonipat. Swarnpath means city of gold. It is currently a district of Haryana, its other small towns include Gohana, Gannaur, Mundlana, Kharkhoda and Rai.
