Sonam Wangchuk, accused in the Leh violence case, was in touch with the Pakistani intelligence agency. He traveled to Bangladesh and Pakistan. DGP SD Singh Jamwal of Ladakh has revealed this. Police arrested a Pakistani intelligence officer.
Sonam wangchuk pakistan links: Police is investigating in the case of violence in Leh, Ladakh on 24 September. Meanwhile, DGP SD Singh Jamwal of Ladakh has made a big disclosure about environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk. He has told that Wangchuk was working at the behest of the Pakistani intelligence agency. He went to Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Sonam Wangchuk has relations with Pakistan
Sonam Wangchuk was going on a hunger strike demanding Ladakh to be given state status. Protests were held in Leh on Wednesday with this demand. The protesters clashed with the police. The vehicles were set on fire. BJP office burnt. The violence killed 4 people and injured more than 70. Sonam Wangchuk has been accused of provoking people for violence.
DGP SD Singh Jamwal on Saturday claimed that Sonam Wangchuk had relations with Pakistan. He expressed concern about his visits to neighboring countries. Wangchuk was arrested on Friday under NSA (National Security Act). He is kept in Central Jail in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

Pakistani intelligence officer was in touch with Sonam Wangchuk
At the press conference, DGP Jamwal revealed that the police arrested a Pakistani PIO (intelligence officer). He was in touch with Wangchuk. DGP said,
We recently arrested a Pakistani PIO. He was sending the report here to Pakistan. We have a record of this. He (Sonam Wangchuk) attended a program of Don in Pakistan. He also went to Bangladesh. Therefore, they have a big question mark. Investigation is being done.

Sonam Wangchuk provoked people before
DGP Jamwal said, “Sonam Wangchuk has a history of inciting people. She has mentioned Arab Spring, Nepal and Bangladesh. Their funding for FCRA violations is under investigation.”
On the question of being a foreign hand in the unrest in Leh, the DGP said, “Two more people were caught during the investigation. If they are part of a conspiracy then I cannot say anything. There is a history of wages of Nepali people at this place, so we have to investigate it.”
