A two-day meeting of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leaders of Ajit Pawar faction is going on in Karjat, Maharashtra. During this period, a meeting of the National Executive was also held. Talking about the meeting, Ajit faction leader Praful Patel said on Thursday that we have decided to work with NDA and under the leadership of PM Modi. He said that other party leaders have supported it.
Praful Patel said that in the last 25 years, the party has taken many such decisions which could have been useful in taking the party forward, but that did not happen. Now we have to move forward but those things are not in front of the media. We will brainstorm it in the meeting. The words being used about Ajit Pawar are wrong. He is very brave.

He further said that as far as the petition regarding disqualification is concerned, we have also filed a petition. Its hearing is going on in Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and Assembly. Our hearing is also going on before the Election Commission. Regarding the alliance of opposition parties, he said that let’s see what happens in the India alliance.
Sunil Tatkare attacked Sharad Pawar
NCP Ajit Pawar Group State President Sunil Tatkare has strongly attacked Sharad Pawar. He said that when the results of the 2014 elections had not come, we were told to support BJP, after which the BJP government is formed and we all remained outside the government. Even in 2017, the government would have been formed with BJP and NCP, but then we were refused permission to hold a meeting in this hotel.
‘Ajit Pawar would have been CM in 2004, but…’
Tatkare further said, in 2004, NCP would have become the Chief Minister and Ajit Pawar would have been the CM, but due to the fear of enmity, he was not made the CM. Ajit Pawar was called a coward and a fugitive in front of the Election Commission. If Ajit Pawar had been a coward, would this new government have been formed? In 2019, the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance got the majority but Maha Vikas Aghadi formed the second government.
Tatkare said- Election Commission’s decision will be in our favor
He said that Maratha reservation should be given. NCP has a role in this. After the decision of the Election Commission comes in our favour, the Congress will go and cry among the people and other groups will also go to every village and tell the people that this is not the hand of some invisible power but is the result based on the test of law.
