India Playing XI vs Afghanistan: Virat Kohli has been ruled out of the ODI series against Afghanistan. Virat Kohli has suffered a hamstring injury, due to which he will not play in the ODI series starting from June 13. Now the question is, if not Virat then who? Who will play in his place in the playing eleven? After Virat Kohli’s exit from the ODI series against Afghanistan, Ishan Kishan’s place in the playing eleven seems confirmed. Ishan Kishan was selected in the ODI team against Afghanistan as a wicketkeeper batsman.

Ishan Kishan can play in place of Virat

The batting order of Team India’s playing eleven in the ODI against Afghanistan was almost clear. Virat Kohli would have handled the innings after the opening of Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma. In the presence of Virat Kohli, there was no place for Ishan Kishan in the playing eleven. But, now that Virat is out of the team, it is expected that Ishan Kishan will be seen playing in his place in the playing eleven.

These players can play from number 4 to number 7

Apart from the top 3 in the playing eleven, Shreyas Iyer can be seen playing at number 4, who is also the vice-captain of the team. KL Rahul will be seen playing at number 5, who is the first choice wicketkeeper batsman of the Indian ODI team. Fast bowling all-rounder Hardik Pandya will be at number six. Whereas spin all-rounder Washington Sundar can be seen playing at number 7.

This bowler may debut

Kuldeep Yadav may get a place in the playing eleven as a specialist spinner. Apart from him, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna and Gurnoor Brar can be the three pacers of the team. Gurnoor Brar can be seen making his debut in ODI against Afghanistan.
