Details of the Fraud
The conviction stems from an investigation initiated by the Central Bureau of Investigation on December 20, 2017, following a formal complaint filed by the Oriental Bank of Commerce branch in Lalsot, District Dausa, Rajasthan. After the completion of the investigation, the CBI filed a charge sheet on August 28, 2019, against the accused Murari Lal Meena, and charges against the accused were framed on January 23, 2024, the release added. Following a full trial, the CBI Court found Meena guilty on all charges, culminating in the sentencing order. (ANI)
