Are all the workers fit to go home? Rishikesh AIIMS gave health update – Khel Ja – Khel Ja

All the 41 laborers who came out of Silkyara Tunnel of Uttarkashi are normal. There is a plan to discharge everyone by today i.e. Thursday evening. Doctors examined the workers at Rishikesh AIIMS. No injury marks were found in any of the workers. Many types of tests were also conducted on everyone. All test reports are normal. Rishikesh AIIMS said that medical clearance has been given to everyone from our side. Our first priority is that everyone reaches their homes safely.

According to the report of news agency PTI, Rishikesh AIIMS Medical Superintendent R. B. Kalia said that even after being discharged from here, these workers will remain in touch with AIIMS. Their health will be continuously monitored. For this, mobile numbers of the workers have been taken. Apart from this, medical colleges and hospitals of their home states have also been contacted and informed about them. R. B. Kalia said that now when the workers will live in an open environment, they will feel better.

Workers remained trapped in the tunnel for 17 days

Let us tell you that due to the collapse of a part of the Silkyara tunnel, the workers who were trapped inside it for 17 days were successfully rescued on Tuesday night. After being kept under medical observation at Chinyalisaur Hospital near Silkyara, he was airlifted to AIIMS Rishikesh on Wednesday by an Indian Air Force Chinook helicopter.

All workers were tested in AIIMS

Blood, heart and radiological tests of all the workers were done at AIIMS Rishikesh, the reports of which came on Thursday found all of them healthy. After getting permission to leave the hospital, Dehradun’s Additional District Magistrate Ramji Sharan Sharma, who was involved in the management of sending the workers to their homes, said that their early return is being ensured.

Arrangements are being made to send all the laborers home

Medical Superintendent R. B. Kalia said that the nodal officers of the workers’ home states are in constant touch with the local administration and they will return home by today or tomorrow. Dehradun District Magistrate Sonika said that arrangements are being made to send the laborers to their homes by road, rail or air as per their convenience.
