There is news of great relief for the people of Old Lucknow. Now there will be no need to take NOC from Tehsil to pass the map of the house in 122 mohallas of the city. The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has implemented a new system by issuing the order on Friday. Now the LDA itself will take out all the information from its record and pass the map, which will relieve people from the problem of circling.

How was the arrangement earlier and why it was difficult

Till now, NOC had to be taken from many departments to pass any building map. It included Tehsil, Jalakal, Nazul, Land Use, Improvement Trust and other departments. Especially in the Mohallas of Old Lucknow, Tehsil NOC was necessary, due to which people used to revolve around the offices and there was a delay in passing the map.

LDA already has full record of mohallas

When the LDA investigated, it was found that the entire record of 122 mohallas of the old city is already present in their archives. That is, there is no need to go to the tehsil. In view of this, a new system has been implemented.

Which wards will get relief

According to LDA Vice President Prathamesh Kumar, now Tehsil NOC will not have to be taken to pass the map in 122 mohallas of Hazratganj, Ganeshganj, Wazirganj, Chowk, Saadatganj and Daulatganj wards. However, the same process will still be applicable for the rest of the areas.

What will people benefit from the new system

With the new system, people will apply for passing the map directly in LDA and the authority itself will take NOC out of their records. This will save time, reduce the mess and the process of passing the map will be speeded up. The authority has also decided that maps and layouts of the schemes of the Improvement Trust and LDA will also be made available directly to the map section from the archives.
