Fighter told how he saved 15 people from death

  • Speaking to ANI, a firefighter recalled the scene, “I saved about 15 people. When we were taking people out, there was a lot of smoke. My job was to extinguish the fire.”
  • At the same time, Fire Officer Faiz Alam told journalists, “Prima facie the cause of the fire seems to be short-circuit. We saved 20-22 people from the ICU. Six fire tenders were deployed here to extinguish the fire. The real cause of death will be clear from the postmortem report. We have received information that a fire audit was conducted here.
