Rampur stf operation: On Friday night in Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh, STF killed Jubera, the main accused in the murder of NEET student Deepak Gupta of Gorakhpur. Juber had a reward of Rs 1 lakh and more than 18 criminal cases were registered against him. Two policemen were injured in the encounter, while Jubera’s companion escaped.
Who was Juber and why was it so dangerous?
Juber was a resident of Mardan Kha, circle of Thanaganj in Rampur. He was absconding for a long time and was the main accused in the murder of NEET student Deepak Gupta. There were 18 cases against Jubera, out of which 14 were in Rampur, 2 Gorakhpur, 1-1 Gonda and Balrampur.

How did STF encounter?
Rampur police was conducting a checking operation at knife chowk. STF received information that Jubera was hidden in this area. STF surrounded him on the way to Mandi. Seeing himself surrounded, Juber opened fire on the police. In response, STF and police also opened fire, which seriously injured Juber. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

On September 15, some animal smugglers arrived in Pipraich police station area of Gorakhpur to break a furniture shop. Deepak Gupta chased the smugglers after receiving information, but the smugglers caught him and murdered about 4 km away. After the incident, the villagers blocked the road and threw stones.
