Prashant Kishore (PK), founder of Jansuraj and Ashok Chaudhary, Senior Minister of Nitish Sarkar. The dispute was hot when PK accused Chaudhary of purchasing land worth about 200 crore rupees and irregularities related to property in the last two years. After this allegation, Chaudhary retaliated and challenged PK and also sent him a defamation notice.
100 crore notice
Seeing the political temperature rising on the allegations of PK, Ashok Chaudhary, taking formal action, made the founder of Jansuraj a medium of defamation notice of Rs 100 crore and asked to give public evidence of the facts within a week. The party and the minister say that the allegations of a strong document are baseless and legal action is necessary.
The matter was shut down when Ashok Chaudhary openly challenged during an event held in Jehanabad on Friday that if Prashant Kishore Mary or my wife also prove a illegitimate land, then he is ready to do “Slavery of Jansuraj”. Chaudhary, keeping his stand tight, said that all his properties are public on the government portal and the plots that PK mentioned, they have already given the details in their property declaration. He clarified that he would like a trial in court, not in the media.
Shambhavi Chaudhary attacked PK
After this statement, there were many reactions in the political corridor. MP Shambhavi Chaudhary, who is also the daughter of Ashok Chaudhary and her name also came in terms of PK allegations, strongly condemned the allegations of PK and said that such allegations are against the politics and social concerns of the state. At the same time, Jansuraj has repeated his point till the allegations come true and said that they are ready to present documents-based evidence.
Political experts say that this wrangling is not just a tip between two persons, but also a part of electoral strategy and vote bank politics. In the pre-election environment, such allegations and counter-allegations often take the form of rhetoric, but when the two sides adopt a legal path, the matter may soon take judicial color due to notice, claims of fine and court challenge.
