Sandipani Ashram Ujjain: After Mahakal Lok, now preparations are being made to build Sandipani Lok in Ujjain, which is called the religious capital of Madhya Pradesh. According to religious texts, Lord Krishna came to Ujjain and received education from Maharishi Sandipani. Even today, Maharishi Sandipani’s ashram is situated on Ankpat Marg of Ujjain. Where thousands of devotees come to visit every day. Madhya Pradesh government is now planning to expand this place. There is a plan to build Sandipani Lok here in an area of 5 hectares before Simhastha 2028.

A huge statue of Shri Krishna will be installed
Madhya Pradesh government will spend Rs 139 crore to build Sandipani Lok. In the form of ‘Shri Krishna Patheya Yojana’, the form of Shri Krishna’s place of education i.e. Sandipani Ashram will be completely changed. An attractive 108 feet statue of Lord Krishna will be installed inside the ashram itself, which will be visible to the devotees from a distance.

Will learn history through digital technology
After the construction of Sandipani Lok, the devotees coming here will also be able to know about the history of this place through digital technology i.e. AR/VR. Multi-language digital content will be available here for the devotees. Devotees will be able to experience the history of the place of education of Lord Shri Krishna through VR technology.
Light and sound show will become an attraction
Devotees coming to Sandipani Ashram will also get to see attractive lights and sounds here. In this light and sound program, the Leela of Lord Shri Krishna and its importance associated with Ujjain will be told. The special thing is that Sandipani Lok will be built in zones 1 to 9. Where devotees will have different divine experiences.
Why is Sandipani Ashram special?
According to religious texts, Ujjain was called Avantika city in Dwapar era. At that time Maharishi Sandipani used to reside here. People from far and wide used to come to his ashram to get education. After killing Kansa, Shri Krishna came here with his brother Balram and within a few days he gained knowledge of 64 arts. Along with this, he also received the education of all the Puranas and Vedas. Shri Krishna’s friendship with Sudama also happened in this ashram. Even today glimpses related to Lord Krishna are visible in Sandipani Ashram. Thousands of devotees come here every day to have darshan.
