Former Bigg Boss contestant Mandana Karimi has spoken about a cyberbullying and stalking campaign that she says has continued for years, even after she moved from India to Dubai. In a social media post the actress claims that an unidentified person has been contacting people in her professional circle, including producers and co-stars, with defamatory messages and requests for money. Mandana Karimi has now shared screenshots of the emails and urged people not to engage with the sender. The actress, who left India in May, has also previously spoken about the decision to begin a new chapter away from the country.

Mandana Karimi Opens Up About Alleged Cyberbullying

The contestant mentioned that the harassment and stalking began more than six years ago following her separation from businessman Gaurav Gupta and has continued despite her changing countries. “I am on a holiday, and it has happened again. I had a cyberbullying case and a stalker for over 6 years since I got separated. An account messaged my producer and co-stars to make them aware of me and also asked them for money. It’s still happening. I don’t understand who hates me so much and wants me to have no work, money, or friends.”

Mandana Karimi also claimed that she had previously hired someone to investigate the matter and was told that a professional hacker had allegedly been paid to monitor her social media activity. She also said that people close to her have received emails from what she believes is a fake account. In another post, she shared screenshots of the alleged messages and appealed to recipients not to believe or respond to them.

Mandana Karimi On Moving To Dubai

Mandana Karimi relocated to Dubai in May and has called the move as the beginning of a new phase in her life. Speaking about the decision, she said it was not simply about leaving one country. “Leaving India is emotional for me. India shaped one of the biggest chapters of my life. I grew there not only as an actor, but as a woman, an artist, and a person trying to find her voice away from home.”

Mandana Karimi began her career with modelling assignments before making her Bollywood debut. She appeared in films including Roy, Bhaag Johnny, Main Aur Charles and She also participated in Bigg Boss 9, finishing as the second runner-up, and later appeared on Ishqbaaz and Lock Upp. Mandana Karimi married businessman Gaurav Gupta in 2017, but the couple later divorced in 2021.
