Ranveer Singh enumerated 4 reasons for leaving ‘Don 3’
According to reports, Ranveer Singh listed four reasons for leaving ‘Don 3’ in the last meeting.
- Reportedly the first reason is that he was not satisfied with the script of ‘Don 3’. He said that the script never reached a level that he was completely satisfied with.
- Ranveer raised questions on Farhan Akhtar’s absence as the second reason. According to him, due to Farhan’s other commitments like concert tours and acting projects, he could not get consistent creative collaboration.
- According to reports, Ranveer Singh recently claimed that his fees were reduced during negotiations and he did not receive any signing amount.
- Ranveer Singh also raised questions about the budget of the film. According to him, earlier the budget of this film was fixed at around Rs 300-350 crore, which was reduced to Rs 150 crore.
Excel Entertainment’s reply to Ranveer Singh
According to reports, Excel Entertainment’s Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani showed WhatsApp chats and claimed that Ranveer Singh had agreed to the script drafts before. He also claimed that there was no post-deal cut in his fees. According to him, Ranveer Singh’s claim that there was any change in the budget and schedule of the film is also wrong. Many members present in the meeting considered this as a documented answer.

It is being told that during the meeting, Ritesh Sidhwani directly asked Ranveer Singh that even if ‘Dhurandhar’ had not been a hit, would he have left ‘Don 3’? To this Ranveer also gave an honest answer and said, “No, I am not leaving the film.”

Reportedly Ranveer Singh gave a settlement offer to the makers of ‘Don 3’ in the meeting. He offered him a compensation of Rs 10 crore. Apart from this, he also offered 25 percent discount in his fees for future projects of Excel Entertainment. However, Excel Entertainment rejected his offer.
