Roof fell in steel plant near Godavari steel

SP Lal Umed Singh of Raipur told ANI that police and officials reached the spot after receiving information about the workers being stuck in the debris. He said, “We got information that some people were trapped by the roof falling near Godavari steel. Police and other officers reached the spot and rescue operations have been started. So far six bodies have been recovered and six injured have been rescued. The rescue is still on.”

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai gave instructions for treatment of injured

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai expressed grief over the incident and said that he has instructed the district administration to ensure proper treatment for the injured. In a post on X, CM Sai said,

Six laborers have been reported to have died and many laborers were injured in an accident in the factory located in Silatra, Raipur.
