After doing The Traitors for only one episode, actor Sahil Salathia participated in the second season of Karan Johar-hosted reality show.
While Sahil was evicted in the first episode of the last season, he is doing well in The Traitors 2. In an exclusive interview with Zoom, the actor opened up about a lot of things related to the reality show. He also reacted to Mallika Sherawat bringing up co-contestant Rhea Chakraborty’s jail time on the show. Sahil stated that the statement made by Mallika was ‘obnoxious’ and ‘ridiculous’.

Speaking exclusively to us, Sahil said that there is a lot of footage that audiences don’t get to see on the final edit. The actor revealed that he gave a ‘full speech’ about how he was in support of Rhea after Mallika made that statement. Taking a dig at Rhea, the actress said, “Is this game about comebacks? I would also say, ‘Oh Rhea, you were in jail. This is a big comeback for you?”
“I said, ‘Rhea you are a rockstar and don’t worry. We are all with you and this is not call’. This show is not a tribute to any of us. It’s about the game. But if small personal moments come up, then you still have to make them very compact,” the actor told Zoom.
Sahil added that The Traitors 2 is not like other reality shows. He mentioned that the reality show is not about Shalini Passi commenting on Mallika’s dress and saying that the actress wears fake outfits. He added that it is just a small spart of the game and not the main crux. “The main crux is the Circle of Shaq. The main crux is who’s getting murdered. Now, in that, this very obnoxious comment has come from Mallika, which is absolutely rubbish and not called for. That’s the exact thing I said. I said this is ridiculous,” he stated.
Sahil went on to add, “It’s like somebody commenting on Mallika’s filmography and the amount of s*x that was there in Malika’s films, when s*x wasn’t a part of Indian films as such. Though she was very liberated and so evolved. She’s wonderful. But it’s like how you say it.”
The actor mentioned that he can call Mallika an evolved woman from the early 2000s, but he can make it sound tacky. He believes that it’s all about the words one picks and the way they say it.
