Honda CB300R Gets Cheaper After GST Cuts- Now Priced at Rs 2.19 Lakh

For the new bike enthusiasts, the CB300R is part of Honda’s Bigwing catalogue, which mainly focuses on premium and performance bikes. The CB300R is equipped with a 286cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 31 horsepower and 27.5Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox which features a slip-and-assist clutch, delivering smooth gear shifts, excellent control, and a smooth riding experience in both city and highways. Its lightweight design and premium components give it the feel of a bigger premium bike, even though it sits in the 300cc segment.

It is important to note that not all Honda BigWing bikes have become cheaper, in fact larger models such as the NX500, Rebel 500 and CBR650R have seen steep price increases due to the new 40% GST on bikes above 350cc. But for buyers focused on premium 300cc motorcycles, the CB300R stands out as an affordable, high-value option.
