Voting for the assembly elections in Rajasthan will take place on 25th November. Congress has released its manifesto four days before voting. Congress has made a big move to woo the farmers in the manifesto. Congress has said that if the government is formed again in the state, it will implement the law to guarantee Minimum Support Price (MSP) on the basis of Swaminathan’s report. The election results in the state will be declared on December 3.
Rajasthan is the first state where Congress has announced to guarantee MSP as per the recommendations of the National Farmers Commission. Under this law, no one will be able to purchase the farmer’s crop at a price lower than the MSP. Those who buy crops from farmers at low prices will be fined and there is also a provision for punishment for them.

Farmers will get loan of Rs 2 lakh without interest- Congress
Not only this, Congress has announced in its ‘Public Manifesto’ that if the government is formed, farmers will be given loans of up to Rs 2 lakh without interest. In the manifesto, Congress has also promised to provide 10 lakh jobs, including 4 lakh government jobs, to the youth of the state in 5 years. At the same time, a new cadre of government jobs will be created at the Panchayat level.
What’s in the Congress manifesto?
- Interest free loan up to Rs 5 lakh to small traders and shopkeepers
- Merchant Credit Card Scheme will be launched
- Conducting caste census in the state
- The amount of ‘Chiranjeevi Health Protection Insurance’ will be increased from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh.
- A female member of the family will be given an honorarium of Rs 10,000 in a year.

We make only those promises which we can fulfill – Kharge
After releasing the ‘Public Manifesto’, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that Rajasthan is a strong stronghold of Congress. We make only promises that we can fulfill. We will provide 10 lakh jobs to the youth of the state in the next 5 years, out of which 4 lakh jobs will be government jobs. He said that this time Congress will return to the state. At the same time, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the economy of Rajasthan will be worth Rs 15 lakh crore by the end of this year and a target has been set to take it to Rs 30 lakh crore by the year 2030.
