Class 11 girl ‘sedated, gangraped’ by 4 She was allegedly lured to a house, assaulted after being given sedative-laced drink

A shocking case of the alleged gang rape of a 15-year-old Class 11 student has been registered at the Shahibaug police station. The girl’s mother, who filed the complaint on Wednesday, has alleged that the accused had threatened her daughter and assaulted her for four months.

Shahibaug police officials have registered a case of gangrape against four accused who live in the same area as the victim.

Assault on May 19

According to the FIR, on May 19 this year, a youth named Akshay Maheriya called the girl from an unknown number. When she answered, he allegedly told her that if she wanted to know how he got her number, she would have to come to his house, which was in the same area.

The girl agreed and went to the house the same day, where another youth, Parth Parmar, was also present. They allegedly gave her a cold drink laced with sedatives. As the girl began to feel dizzy, the two undressed her. At that moment, Dashrath Thakor and Avinash Parmar arrived. The four then allegedly raped the girl in turns.

When the victim regained consciousness and started screaming, Akshay allegedly slapped her and threatened her with dire consequences if she told anyone about the incident.

Four months of silence

‘When the girl returned home, she complained of chest pain and was taken to UN Mehta Hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with acidity. The next day, she complained of pain in her private parts and was taken to a private hospital, where doctors told her she had a urine infection.

The girl did not disclose the alleged gangrape during these visits. As time passed, she grew fearful that the accused would exploit her again and finally informed her mother about the incident on Wednesday, leading to the FIR.
