Why did Kajol call Salman Khan Uncle?
Recalling her first meeting with Salman Khan, Kajol said that at that time she was only 12 years old and used to call her as ‘Salman Uncle’. Salman laughed at this matter and then he shared memories of his old relationship with Kajol’s father Shomu Mukherjee. Salman said, ‘I was very close to Kajol’s father. We had very good relations. He used to come to my house twice a week. The last time he came to my house exactly two days before his death. He came home, sat inside and said, ‘Make a drink.’ I said, ‘Hey Shomu da, no.’ So he replied, ‘Never mind, I am going in two-three days, you make one.’ I made a drink for him … and two days later he left this world. Salman also said that his father Salim Khan was also a very good friend of Shomu Mukherjee and used to respect him a lot. At the end of the conversation, Salman was emotional and said, “Mukherjee family is one of the best families in the industry.”
