Muzaffarpur: The battle has started within the NDA regarding the ticket distribution before the Bihar assembly elections 2025. The NDA worker conference held on Thursday in Gaighat assembly constituency of Muzaffarpur district became a battle of war. There was a lot of uproar, slogans and assault between Prabhat Kiran and supporters of Komal Singh, daughter of JDU leader and former minister Maheshwar Yadav and Komal Singh, daughter of LJP (Ram Vilas) Vina Devi.
Uproar and chaos in the conference
As soon as Komal Singh approached the Manch at the conference held at Jarang High School in Gaighat, local leaders started shouting slogans of “outer Bhagao, Gaighat Bachao”. On this, Prabhat Kiran’s supporters and Komal Singh’s supporters clashed. On seeing this, activists from both sides started throwing chairs and bounced the flag towards the stage. During the uproar, the rumor spread that there was a bullet on the spot, after which there was a stampede and people started running around. Police and security forces had to work hard to handle the situation.

The situation on the stage was no less tense. There was a sharp noise between Prabhat Kiran and Komal Singh. During this time the tables were overturned and several chairs were broken. Stopped the stage operation between chaos.

The policemen present on the spot somehow controlled the situation. It was claimed by the administration that there was only a rumor of firing and no one was reported injured. However, many people were scared due to stampede.
Ticket distribution caused a tussle
Both JDU and LJP-RV are claiming claims on Gaighat seat. Prabhat Kiran is considered to be the local face of JDU, while Komal Singh is beating this seat with the help of his mother Veena Devi and father MLC Dinesh Singh. In such a situation, there was a tremendous tension in both groups about who will get the ticket.
