The BCCI on Thursday announced a 15-member India squad for the upcoming two-Test home series against West Indies.
Shubman Gill will continue as captain after leading India to a 2-2 draw in England. Ravindra Jadeja will be his deputy in the absence of Rishabh Pant, who misses out as he recovers from a toe fracture sustained in the England series. Dhruv Jurel and N. World No. 1 bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been included, while Shreyas Iyer, on a six-month break from red-ball cricket, is not part of the squad.
The series begins in Ahmedabad from October 2-6, with the second Test in New Delhi from October 10-14.
