Toxic Advance Booking: Yash starrer sells 1,40,000 tickets across National chains; aims at Rs. 35 crore opening day

This advance is indicative of a start in the range of Rs. 35 crore to Rs. 40 crore, which is one of the biggest openings of all time for a South Film dubbed in Hindi.

When the bookings started on Friday, it looked like on track to sell 4,00,000 tickets in the national chains, but the pace slowed down a bit on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

The advances are solid outside the national chains – especially the single-screen centres in tier 2 and tier 3 centres. The film will have strong footfalls from the mass belts, and this is a result of a strong fan base of Yash due to the historic success of KGF and KGF 2.

The start is going to be historic, the 4th biggest of all time for a dubbed film in Hindi after Pushpa 2, Baahubali 2 and KGF 2. In-fact, it’s the biggest start for a standalone non-franchise film in Hindi, and that speaks volumes about the impact of Yash in Hindi audience. If the content lands from hereon, Toxic is headed for a strong finish at the Hindi box office, as the sky is the limit.
