New Delhi: A video from Russia showcased a man’s lucky escape from a bear. He quickly got inside a car and locked himself away from the wild animal. The shocking clip grabbed the attention of many online.
The video featured a parking lot. A man was seen standing next to a car. Soon, a bear arrived out of nowhere and the man quickly took shelter inside his car. He locked himself inside. Meanwhile, the bear began attacking the car in an attempt to break into it. Meanwhile, another man, who witnessed the incident, quickly drove away. The video concluded with the bear running away from the parking lot.

According to RT, the same bear later attacked and killed a woman near a school in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Several bear sightings have been reported from Russia in recent times. One report said that a bear attacked and mauled a man in a forest about 125 km from the country’s capital Moscow. Th man escaped death by using the trick of playing dead. As per Reuters, the victim’s relative stated, “It began to gnaw at his skull, then turned (him) over and started eating his face. Somehow, (he) pretended to be dead, and the bear left him alone.”
The victim called the emergency service for help. However, he had to wait for hours as the emergency responders had to search the forest to find the bear attack victim. In another news, a 43-year-old woman, who was sleeping in a tent, was attacked by a wild bear.
The woman was on an adventure tour in Russia’s Kamchatka. She was identified as Natalya K. She was found with multiple injuries and fractures. As per reports, the other campers on the trip were alerted by the woman’s cry. They were able to shoo the bear away.
