D.K. Shivkumar took oath as the new Chief Minister of the state. On this special occasion, his daughter Aishwarya DKS Hegde shared a special post on Instagram. Her emotional post with the message ‘Congratulations, Papa’ is going viral on the internet and people are reacting fiercely to it.
Along with this congratulatory message, an old video of Aishwarya has also resurfaced on social media. In this he said, "Today people may call my father ‘Rock’ (Rock of Kanakpura), but since childhood, we have seen closely how many years of hard work and how much time it took for this rock to reach where it is today."
He expressed hope for the future after his father assumed the highest post of the state, i.e. the Chief Minister’s chair. Aishwarya said in the video, "We all are eagerly waiting to see what changes our father brings to the state as Chief Minister in the coming days and what good work he does for the people."
Aishwarya also shared an important lesson she learned from her father on this occasion. He told, "Our father always says one thing; ‘Daughter, God neither blesses nor curses anyone directly. He just gives opportunities’."
