Get Rs 2000 Crore To Make A Film With Yash: Ramayana Star’s Mom Pushpa Asks Journalist, Gets Trolled

Pushpa Arun Kumar, mother of Rocking Star Yash, has been massively trolled over her recent comments where she asked a journalist to bring Rs 2000 to make a movie with her son.

During an interview, Pushpa, who is gearing up for the release of her maiden production Kothalavadi, was asked whether she has plans to make a movie with Rocky Bhai.

Responding to the question, she said, “Do you have Rs 2000 crore? If you have budget, tell me..I will approach him. Even if you give me a loan of Rs 2000 crore, it is fine. We need Rs 2000 crore to make a movie with him. Let me know whether you know investors…”

However, her comments faced backlash on social media with many asking her not to boast too much and not to forget her roots. A user wrote, “People just forget where they come from …If yash was not in movie industry she should realise wher she would have been and want kind of life she would be living…Idella beka ee yammange ? Yash is maintaining his stature and dignity and his own family is behaving like this ..it’s sad…”

Netizens Slams Ramyana Star’s Mom

Another fan urged her not to damage Yash’s hard-built reputation. The second user commented, “I suggest Rocky Bhai’s mother, please do not spoil the name of Yash bro as he has grown up with his efforts, lots of suffering and madness about the Kannada industry…”

The third user criticised, “First. Ask him how many digits in 2000 crores.” A netizen advised her: “Amma you are an old woman now ok. Please look after your health first. Please don’t act too much ok. Look after your husband. Be happy rest of your life.”

Pushpa later clarified her statements in a separate interview, explaining, “If at all I want to make movie, I need ₹2000 crore to make it on large scale. I am thinking on that range. And I answered because many have been asking in interviews. So I made those claims. Because I want to make on that scale I don’t have. So I asked I need ₹2000 crore. It is on this intention only I made those comments. Is it wrong to have a dream to make a movie on that scale?”

Her claims come at a time when it is being reported that Yash’s upcoming movie Ramayana is being made in two parts with a budget of Rs 4000 crore. However, his other project Toxic, is made with a budget of Rs 200 crore.
