Some viewers have lauded the film as a mass entertainer crafted for Pawan Kalyan’s devoted fan base. OG movie story

The film follows the story of Ojas Gambheera, or OG, who makes a dramatic return to Mumbai after a decade to take on his rival, Omi Bhau, played by Emraan Hashmi. Priyanka Arul Mohan stars as Kanmani, OG’s wife, while the supporting cast includes Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj. The gangster saga has been produced by DVV Danayya under DVV Entertainment, the banner best known for backing RRR.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, They Call Him OG has earned Rs 33 crore from advance bookings, including paid previews, internationally. This brings its total worldwide advance bookings to ₹98 crore. With such momentum, the film is expected to surpass Rs 100 crore on its opening day globally and could even reach Rs 150 crore, making it not only Pawan Kalyan’s biggest opening yet but also one of the largest worldwide openings for a Telugu film.
