Its compact dimensions comply with Japan’s kei-car regulations. A boxy profile, tall roof and long wheelbase help maximise cabin space within the limited footprint.

Exterior highlights include rectangular headlamps with C-shaped LED signatures, a slim black connecting panel, squared wheel arches and a contrasting black roof. The rear gets vertically arranged tail lamps, a roof-mounted spoiler and a flat tailgate. Suzuki is also offering an exclusive Immersion Blue body colour and a dedicated interior colour theme.

Suzuki says the range was achieved through weight reduction and high energy efficiency. Equipment includes a direct heat-pump system and an air-heated electric heater, which should reduce the impact of cabin heating on driving range.

V2L can support remote work, camping equipment and small appliances. It may also provide temporary power during an outage or emergency. Inside, e Sky gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen and digital instrument display. App-based connected navigation recommends routes by considering the remaining range and traffic conditions, helping users locate an appropriate charging point.

Competition in Japan’s electric kei-car segment is increasing, with new rivals such as BYD Racco entering the market. An India launch has not been confirmed. It is scheduled to go on sale in Japan within the current financial year ending March 2027. Prices have not been announced, but Suzuki intends to make it affordable enough to encourage petrol-car owners to switch to electric mobility.
