A Zimbabwean content creator’s tongue-in-cheek take on life in India has caught attention after he shared everyday conveniences that changed his standard of living. Kalumba Mwale, who has been living in India, shared a video with the text “7 ways India destroyed my life.”
From digital payments to doorstep delivery, he listed 7 everyday conveniences
At the top of his list was UPI and digital payments. “I can leave my wallet at home, carry just my phone, and still pay for almost everything. It’s incredibly convenient,” he wrote. He praised affordable autos and rickshaws, food delivery, and the wide variety of vegetarian food.
He also highlighted skilled labour, neighbourhood convenience stores, easy access to pharmacies, and affordable food. He said having groceries, medicines, and essentials delivered to one’s door was a game-changer.
“Hi, my name is Kalumba. Coming from Zimbabwe, these are some of the little things about India that I genuinely appreciate,” he wrote. “I’m still discovering new things every day, so if you’re enjoying the journey, stick around and experience India with me.”
The video has gone viral, with people agreeing with his points. Some joked, “Get this man an Aadhaar card.”
