During treatment at Lala Lajpat Rai Hallet Hospital in Kanpur, a vicious criminal escaped by dodging the police. The miscreant was arrested by Jalaun police in an encounter. He was shot in the leg. The vicious criminal used to collect extortion from people by posing as a fake inspector. There was panic in the police department on the news of the escape of the criminal.
Jalaun SP has suspended two constables posted on the duty of treating the injured criminal and has initiated a departmental inquiry against them. Jalaun police along with Kanpur police have formed teams to arrest the absconding fake inspector. Injured vicious criminal Jitendra Singh Parihar was admitted to Lala Lajpat Rai Hallet Hospital in Kanpur for treatment. He was shot in the leg in a police encounter.
There was a stir in the police department
Constable Deependra and constable Tej Singh, posted at Orai police station, were deployed to monitor the injured criminal. The injured criminal escaped by dodging both the policemen. As soon as the soldiers on duty came to know about this, they started searching for the miscreant. Even after a lot of searching, the vicious criminal could not be found. The soldiers informed the higher authorities about the escape of the criminal. As soon as Jalaun police got information about the escape of the fake inspector, there was panic in the department.
SP suspended the constables
Taking immediate cognizance of this matter, Jalaun Superintendent of Police Dr. Iraj Raja suspended constables Deependra and Tej Singh of Orai police station on duty with immediate effect. A departmental inquiry has been started against the constables. Regarding this, Jalaun Superintendent of Police said that teams of Jalaun Police have been formed with the help of Kanpur Police. The search is on for the vicious criminal. He will be arrested soon.
The encounter took place on 10 November
There are 21 criminal cases registered in different areas against the fake inspector who escaped from police custody. He has been to jail many times. On November 10, there was an encounter of this fake inspector with SOG, Orai Kotwali police and surveillance team in the factory area of Orai Kotwali area. In the encounter, the criminal was shot in his right leg, hence he was admitted to Hallett Hospital for treatment. On Sunday night, he dodged the police and escaped in injured condition.
