Emraan Hashmi’s Gunmaaster G9 Teaser To Play Before Yash’s Toxic Screening In Theatres – Report

Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming action thriller Gunmaaster G9 is set to begin its promotional campaign with a theatrical teaser premiere. According to a report, the teaser will be screened separately before Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups in theatres, giving audiences an early look at the film. The move comes months ahead of Gunmaaster G9’s scheduled worldwide release on November 27, 2026. The theatrical teaser is expected to introduce audiences to the film’s world and characters.

According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the teaser of Gunmaaster G9 will be screened separately before the theatrical presentation of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups. Rather than being attached directly to the print of Yash’s film, the teaser will reportedly get its own screening before audiences enter the main feature.

Toxic is expected to attract substantial audiences, giving Gunmaaster G9 an opportunity to reach viewers well before its release. The theatrical unveiling also allows the makers to begin building awareness around the film at a time when its November release is still several months away. The teaser will feature Emraan Hashmi in his action-oriented role.

Directed by Aditya Datt, Gunmaaster G9 is positioned as an action thriller with elements of romance. The film has been written by Sarim Momin and Junaid Wasi, while Himesh Reshammiya has composed its music. Emraan leads the project, which comes after the renewed attention surrounding his work and success in Awarapan 2. The actor has frequently explored action, thriller and romantic genres throughout his career, and  brings several of those elements together.

The supporting cast includes Genelia Deshmukh and Aparshakti Khurana, while Abhishek Singh is being introduced with the film. The combination of established performers and a new face is expected to be one of the elements showcased in the promotional material.

Gunmaaster G9 is produced by Deepak Mukut, Hunar Mukut and Sangeeta Ahir and presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. It is scheduled to release worldwide on November 27, 2026. The film will arrive in theatres on the same day as Yeh Prem Mol Liya, setting up a box office clash. Yeh Prem Mol Liya stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari and is directed by Sooraj Barjatya. The film recently wrapped its shoot and also features Saumya Tandon, Seema Pahwa and Swanand Kirkire in supporting roles. It is reportedly being positioned as a family entertainer, giving the November 27 clash films belonging to distinctly different genres.
