Vidarbha Premier League Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s IPL teammate Shubham Dubey has made a big splash. After the journey of his team Rajasthan Royals in IPL ended on 29 May, he played his first match in Vidarbha Premier League on 2 June. The match was between India Warriors and Nagpur Heroes. In this match, Shubham Dubey was a part of the India Warriors team, who also added color by coming out to bat at number six. He played a match-winning innings in 33 balls and scored so many runs that the Indian Warriors team scored 261 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Shubham Dubey hit the ball out of the field 11 times during his batting.

In the match played at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Jamtha, Nagpur, India Warriors won the toss and decided to bat first.
