Who gets the cylinder for ₹613?
Beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana get additional subsidy on LPG cylinders. The central government has approved continuation of the subsidy of ₹300 per 14.2 kg cylinder for 2025-26 also. This benefit is given up to a maximum of 9 refills in a year. This is why the effective price for Ujjwala beneficiaries in many cities reaches around ₹613, while ordinary customers pay much more.
