DSSSB Recruitment 2026: Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released an important recruitment notification. A total of 1,979 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive, which includes various posts like Junior Scientific Assistant, Trained Graduate Teacher (Computer Science), Special Teacher, Technical Assistant, Fitter, Lift Operator, and Electrical Supervisor/Sub-Inspector.

The online application process will start from June 16, and interested candidates will be able to apply through the official DSSSB website.
Who can apply?
Junior Scientific Assistant: Must have a Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc.) in the relevant subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.).
TGT (Computer Science): Must have BCA/Graduate in Computer Science/B.Tech (CS/IT) or DOEACC ‘A’ level course certificate.
Special Teacher (Primary): Class 12 pass + 2 year Diploma in Special Education (D.Ed) or a course recognized by RCI + CTET (Primary) qualification.
IT Assistant: Must have passed class 12 and good typing speed (8000 KDPH).
Electrical Supervisor: Must have 3 year Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering + relevant experience.
Fitter: Must have ITI certificate in relevant trade (e.g., Fitter, Electrician, Wireman etc.).
Lift Operator: Must have completed ITI certificate or related technical course; Relevant experience is also required.
Age Limit and Application Fee
What is the age limit?
Different age limits have been prescribed for different posts in DSSSB Recruitment. For most Group ‘C’ posts—such as JSA, Fitter, and Lift Operator—the age of the candidate must be between 18 to 27 years. At the same time, for Group ‘B’ posts – such as teacher, technical assistant, and archivist – the maximum age limit should be 30 years. Age limit has also been prescribed for some special posts; For example, the age limit for Fitter Grade-II is 20 to 32 years and for Lift Operator is 18 to 37 years.
application fee
Candidates must deposit the prescribed fee online before applying; This payment can be made through SBI e-Pay. The application fee for General and OBC candidates is ₹100 (except candidates from outside Delhi). Whereas, the application fee for women candidates, SC, ST, disabled persons, and ex-servicemen is completely waived.

Click on “New Registration/Apply Online” on the homepage.
Register by filling your name, mobile number, email ID and other basic details.
Login using the User ID and Password received after registration.
Fill in the application form with your personal details, educational qualification, and post preferences.
Upload the required documents, such as your photograph, signature, and certificates.
Now, deposit the application fee online through SBI e-Pay, if applicable.
Confirm all the information and click on “Final Submit”.
