Thiruvananthapuram: A shocking road rage incident has come to light from Vithura, where a KSRTC bus driver was attacked by a young man on a bike. The driver, Nandakumar, was hit on the head with a beer bottle after an argument.
The incident happened on Monday evening when Nandakumar was driving his bus from Bonacaud to Vithura. According to reports, a youth on a bike suddenly entered the main road from a side lane, right in front of the bus. To avoid an accident, Nandakumar had to slam the brakes.

This angered the youth. He accused the driver of not giving him enough space to pass. He then blocked the bus, started arguing with Nandakumar, and in a fit of rage, smashed a beer bottle he was carrying on the driver’s head.

Nandakumar was seriously injured and was immediately rushed to a local taluk hospital. The Vithura police have filed a case and arrested the attacker, identified as Noufal, a resident of Varkala. Police say Noufal already has cases against him in Varkala and Ayiroor stations. He has been produced in court.
