It is a matter of one day, the monk came to that moneylender’s house, the moneylender welcomed him and told him about his problem. The monk advised the moneylender’s wife to observe Mangla Gauri fast to be done on Tuesday in Sawan. Along with this, he also provided complete information about worship method. After this, the moneylender’s wife started worshiping Gauri Mangla from the first Tuesday of the month of Sawan. Now she started observing fast and worship every Tuesday. Thus he fasted for several months. One day, pleased with her rationalism, Mother Parvati asked Lord Shiva to give a boon to the moneylender and her wife.
A divine power appeared in the dream that night to the moneylender that night, the idol of Lord Ganesha is seated under a mango tree, you will break the mangoes from that tree and feed your wife, this will give you the pleasure of getting children.
The moneylender got up the next morning and told his wife about this dream and he went out to find that mango tree. After finding for a long time, the moneylender finally found the mango tree where the idol of Lord Ganesha was seated. He started stoning the tree to break the mango.
A mango was broken and fell down due to throwing stones, but by mistake, a stone went to the statue of Lord Ganesha. This made Lord Ganesha angry and he appeared and cursed the moneylender and said that- O selfish man! You have hurt me because of your selfishness, you will get a child with the grace of Mother Parvati, but he will die at the age of 21.
Hearing this, the moneylender got very nervous and he went back home. He fed that fruit to his wife and did not tell anyone about this incident. After some time, the moneylender and his wife got a son with the blessings of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. Due to this, there was no place for happiness in the lives of both of them, but at the same time the moneylender was also worried that his son would be young.
On seeing this, the child has been 20 years old and started getting his father’s hand in business. One day while returning home, the moneylender sat on the banks of the tree and started eating with his son. Then two girls named Kamala and Mangla came to wash clothes and started talking among themselves while washing clothes. Kamala told Mangala that, I have decided to keep Mangala Gauri fast every Tuesday in this month of Sawan, you must also do this fast dedicated to Maa Parvati. This makes Mother Parvati happy and your grace remains on you. By doing this, you also get the desired bride and unbroken good fortune. After listening to Kamala, Mangla also agreed to observe this fast.
On the other hand, the moneylender listened to this whole dialogue between the two girls and he thought in his mind that this girl does Mangala Gauri fast, this will give it a united good fortune. But your husband is a young age, so a snake will come to take your husband’s life on Tuesday, the next month. You put sweet milk in a cup for him. Put an empty matka near him. The snake will drink milk and go into that pot and then you cover the pot with a cloth.
On the next Tuesday, Kamala obeyed Mata Parvati, put sweet milk in a cup and also put a matki nearby. The snake came and drank milk and sat in the matki. Kamala tied a cloth on that mat and put it in the forest. Kamala’s husband’s life survived by the grace of Mother Parvati. In this way, the curse of the moneylender became free from the virtuous fruit of Mangla Gauri fast. When Kamla told everyone about this miracle in the house, everyone was surprised.
