Maruti Cars Sales Report
In May 2026, Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 242,688 units, which is its highest-ever monthly sales volume. Domestic sales also reached an all-time high of 193,535 units. The sales to other OEM were at 7,239 units and exports were at 41,914 units.
Tata Cars Sales Report
Tata Motors Limited sales in the domestic & international markets for May 2026 stood at 32,850 units, compared to 28,147 units during May 2025, up 17% YoY.
Domestic sales of MH&ICV in May 2026 was 13,679 units vs 12,406 units in May 2025 (10% YoY). Domestic & International sales for MH&ICV in May 2026 was 14,596 units vs 13,614 units in May 2025 (7% YoY).
Hyundai Cars Sales Report
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) reported domestic sales of 47,837 units in May 2026, registering 9.1% YoY growth. With exports of 13,300 units, total monthly sales stood at 61,137 units, marking 4.1% YoY growth in May 2026.
Renault Cars Sales Report
Renault India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Renault Group, recorded its ninth consecutive month of wholesale growth in May 2026, extending a strong growth streak that began in September 2025. Between September 2025 and May 2026, Renault India achieved cumulative wholesales of 38,225 units, reflecting a robust 46% growth compared to the same period last year.
Toyota Cars Sales Report
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today announced its sales performance for the month of May 2026 with 33,128 units, reflecting a growth of 7% compared to 30,864 units sold in May 2025. This includes 30,574 units sold in the domestic market and 2,554 units exported.
Honda Cars Sales Report
Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) announced total sales of 7,853 units for May 2026, achieving over 31% year-on-year growth. With 5,111 domestic units and 2,742 exports, Mr. Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales for HCIL, noted that the strong performance was driven by the new City launch, the ZR-V premiere, and sustained demand for the Amaze and Elevate models.
MG Cars Sales Report
JSW MG Motor India today announced that it sold 6,048* vehicles in May 2026. The company maintained its sales performance despite global supply chain disruptions, rising commodity prices, and a sharp increase in freight tariffs.
The company launched MAJESTOR, India’s first D+ segment SUV, in May. The MAJESTOR 4×2 Automatic Top Trim and 4×4 Automatic Top Trim were launched at INR 40.99 lakh (6- and 7-seater) and INR 44.99 lakh (7-seater) ex-showroom, respectively.
