Mahatari Sadan Inauguration: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated 51 Mahtari Houses from Dhamtari. He also launched Village Sampada App and Civil Information Portal. The district gave the development works worth more than Rs 83 crore.
Mukhyamantri teartra yatra yojana: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai attended the state level Mahtari Sadan inauguration ceremony held in village Kareli Badi of Kurud assembly constituency of Dhamtari district today. He inaugurated the newly built 51 Mahatari houses in various districts of the state by pressing the button from the remote from the stage in Kareli Badi. Along with this, the overall information based civil information portal of Gram Sampada app and MNREGA was also launched. Apart from this, ‘Lakhpati Didi/Mahtari Sadan’ and ‘Maa Abhiyan’ also released the booklet.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai held virtual communication with women groups of various districts Jashpur (Rengle), Bemetara (Linjawara), Mungeli (Nawagaon) and Durg (Nagpura) in the program and wished them the Mahtari Sadan and Navratri festival. He said that the state government is constantly trying to fulfill Modi’s guarantee in its 19 -month brief tenure. The Chief Minister said that empowering mother power is the highest priority of the government. Now the women of the group will be able to do many tasks like sewing-embroidery, vegetable production and self-employment training in the Mahtari Sadan.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government is running many ambitious schemes like Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana, Chief Minister Pilgrimage Scheme and Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Referring to the new industrial policy, he said that it has immense possibilities to connect the youth with self -employment. He also reiterated the resolve to make Chhattisgarh Naxalism-free by March 2026 as per the intention of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma congratulated the launch of the Mahtari Sadan and said that the government is doing continuous work towards making women self -sufficient. He said that women are becoming financially empowered by the Mahtari Vandan Yojana and other service facilities have been accessible in villages from withdrawing funds through Atal Digital Services Center. The program was also addressed by the district in -charge minister Shri Tankaram Verma and MP Mrs. Rupkumari Chaudhary. Kurud MLA Shri Ajay Chandrakar, while referring to the development works being done in the area, gave an intimate welcome to the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister Shri Sai gave a development gift of more than Rs 83 crore to Dhamtari district. He announced the establishment of a college in village Kareli Badi. Also Kurud’s G. Approval of new ITI in Jamgaon. Gram Panchayat Kareli was announced to provide the status of Nagar Panchayat by mixing Kareli Badi and Gram Khatti. In the program, he announced the expansion of urban water supply scheme at Nagar Panchayat Kurud and Bhakhara at a cost of Rs 30 crore, sanctioning Rs 45 crore for construction of Baronda Annic from Bindri, providing municipal council status to Nagar Panchayat Kurud and Rs 2 crore for various development works in Kurud Nagar Panchayat, Rs 2 crore for Rs. 1 crore and Rs 5 crore for Khatti Anicut repair. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma also announced the construction of Gaurav Path in Bindri.
MPs, MLAs and local public representatives of other districts including Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw and Mungeli also joined the program virtually. Around two lakh women from across the state attended the program virtually. Earlier, Chief Minister Shri Sai visited the exhibition and stalls of development works displayed by various departments in the program and distributed materials and checks to the beneficiaries. At the beginning of the program, Principal Secretary Mrs. Niharika Barik Singh gave detailed information about the Mahtari Sadan. Many public representatives and a large number of dignitaries were present on the occasion.
