Swadeshi Mela Uttar Pradesh: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that before Deepawali, there will be an indigenous fair of ODOP and local products in every district. This will provide big platform and employment opportunities to artisans, handicrafts and entrepreneurs.
A week -long Swadeshi fair will be held in every district in Uttar Pradesh before Deepawali. Addressing the workshop on self-reliant India-Swadeshi resolve, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the event will not only give a platform to artisans and entrepreneurs but will also promote the purchase of Indian goods instead of foreign products.
ODOP and local products fair in every district
CM Yogi said that from October 10 to 18, there will be a fair of ODOP and local products in every district. This will benefit the local entrepreneurs and traders and the public will also get the option of indigenous goods.

The model of self -reliant India told UPITS
CM described the UPITS program to be held in Greater Noida from September 25 to 29 as the best model of indigenous and self -reliant India. It will have 2500 stalls, traders from India and abroad and potential sales of up to 2200 crores.
India will be developed from Swadeshi: Yogi Adityanath
Yogi Adityanath said that by 2047, the way to make India a developed nation will pass only through indigenous and self -sufficient campaign. He stressed that “which is made in India and which includes the hard work of Indian workers and youth, is the real indigenous.”
UP’s ODOP scheme gives employment strength
CM said that Rs 2 lakh crore is being exported from UP’s ODOP scheme and 10 crore people have been linked to employment. Today UP is contributing 60 percent of the country in mobile production and is exporting two lakh crores.
Appeal to foreign model to be vigilant
Yogi warned that whenever foreign models are adopted, its result will be dangerous. He said that India’s real power is to promote natural farming and cottage industries.
