This is the reason that on the very first day of Navratri, a large number of people reached the showroom from morning to buy a car. Maruti-Tata has sold 40,000 cars in just 1 day.
GST reforms impact in automobile sector: New rates of GST have been implemented on the first day of Navratri i.e. 22 September. Its effect is also visible. Due to the cars being cheaper, two auto companies Maruti and Tata of India sold 40,000 cars in a single day. Due to the removal of GST, there is a record bounce in the sales of companies after cars become cheap.
Maruti sold 30000 cars in a day, not even Tata behind
According to reports, on September 22, Maruti Suzuki sold 30,000 cars in just one day due to GST reduced. At the same time, Tata Motors also did 10,000 units of sales. Demand of SUV models like Nexon and Panch was most seen in Tata’s cars. Let us know that due to low GST, the price of small cars has decreased by 10 to 15 percent, due to which there is a competition to buy cars in middle class. Foreign company Hyundai also sold 11000 vehicles in a single day on the first day of Navratri i.e. 22 September. The highest demand Creta and Grand i10 were Neos.

Maruti vehicles became cheaper by 1.30 lakhs
After the decrease in GST and the company’s exemption, Maruti vehicles have become cheaper by Rs 1.30 lakh. The highest discount is available in S -reso. After this, Brezza is getting 1.12 lakhs, Alto K-10 1.07 lakh, Celerio 94000, Dzire 87000, Swift, 84000, Wagon-R79000, Eco 68000 and Ertiga 46000 rupees. Apart from this, Fronx is getting Rs 1.12 lakh, Grand Vitara 1.07 lakh, Baleno 86000, Ignis 71000, Invisto 61000 and XL6 52000 rupees in the Nexa dealership vehicles.
Companies raising cars sales are offering 10% discounts separately
To increase the sales of cars, automobile companies are also offering more than 10 percent discounts to customers. In such a situation, the car is getting cheaper by 20-25%, including GST exemption and offers of companies. This is the reason that people queued up in the showrooms since morning of Navratri.
