Story of GST reform first and now

Nirmala Sitharaman said that GST started in 2017, but then there was no scope for its improvement as it was difficult to focus due to elections and then corona in 2019. After the election, the Prime Minister said that work on GST. A new reform was prepared in a month and passed in the GST Council.

The prices of 375 items used to be used in this improvement were reduced. The first GST rates were 5%, 12%, 18% and 28%, which is now only 5% and 18%. Most of the goods are now in 5% tax slab. This has affected the common man’s pocket because now most of the goods have become cheaper.

East Delhi MP and Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra also supported the Finance Minister. Now GST is just two slabs at 5% and 18%, which is a major improvement for business.
