India vs Afghanistan: Have you ever seen a country playing as a guest on its own soil? Team India is going to register its name in history in this matter. A series of 3 T20 matches is to be organized in Delhi in September this year, in which Team India will be seen playing as a guest and not the host. That series of 3 T20 will be hosted by Afghanistan team. Such a scene will be seen for the first time in the history of cricket.

According to the report of Times of India, all three matches of the T20 series between Afghanistan and India in September will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. This will be the first time that the Afghanistan team will be seen hosting a bilateral series against India on its own soil. According to the report, the official announcement of this series has not been made yet but it is believed that the matches will be held on 13, 16 and 19 September.
India tour schedule of Afghanistan
Afghanistan team has to play 1 test on India tour in June. After the test match, he also has to play 3 ODI series. The only test between India and Afghanistan will start from June 6 in New Chandigarh. After the test match, the ODI series will start from June 13. After the first ODI is played in Dharamshala, both the teams will go to Lucknow for the second ODI, where the match will be played on June 17. The last match of the series will be held in Chennai on June 20.
Official announcement yet to be made on hosting the series
According to TOI, the Afghanistan Cricket Board can talk to BCCI about hosting the series in September during the current tour.
Quoting BCCI sources, TOI wrote that relations between India and Afghanistan cricket boards have been good. The Indian Cricket Board has also helped boards like Ireland, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe in the past. Their earnings have increased by sending the team. There are some things, once completed, BCCI can make an official announcement regarding Afghanistan hosting the series in India. According to sources, by mediating with DDCA, BCCI will also help ACB in organizing the series in Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
If Afghanistan team hosts 3 T20 match series at Arun Jaitley Stadium in September, then DDCA will also have to make the schedule of Delhi T20 League accordingly.
