New Delhi: India decimated Pakistan again in the ongoing Asia Cup by six wickets at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday, September 21. With the win over Pakistan, fans lauded the Indian team on social media.
Pakistan registered their highest T20I score against India (batting first) as they scored 171 runs in 20 overs. Their opener, Sahibzada Farhan, smashed a half-century and sparked massive controversy with his ‘gun-firing’ celebration.
Indian openers Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill gave a perfect reply to Pakistani bowlers as Abhishek smashed a first-ball six to Shaheen Afridi and sledged him after the shot. Abhishek and Shubman both were involved in the heated arguments with Haris Rauf and Afridi.
Fans were delighted by the India team’s performance against Pakistan and quoted, “India vs Pakistan is so overrated these days.” Some users called the “one-sided India-Pakistan clashes the end of the spice of the high-octane clash”.

Abhishek and Gill made a 105-run opening-wicket partnership under 10 overs. India’s vice-skipper Gill departed on 47 runs off 28 balls, whereas Abhishek scored 74 runs in just 39 balls with five monstrous sixes.
Indian batters comfortably chased the target and opened their Super 4 stage with a victory. After the win, the Men in Blue again refused the handshake with the Pakistan team.
