The Prime Minister said that with the GST reform, only 5 and 18 percent tax will be levied on goods, he said that this GST reform will work as double bonanza for the new middle class. Counting the benefits of the GST reform, the Prime Minister said that it will be easy to fulfill his dreams for the new middle class, he said that now it will be cheaper to build a thing and house of needs like fridge, TV, AC.

Important steps for self -sufficient India

The Prime Minister said in his address that from the very first day of Navratri, the country is going to take an important step for self -sufficient India from GST reform. The Prime Minister said that from tomorrow i.e. on the morning of Navratri, the new generation GST will be implemented in the country and GST savings festival is going to start in the country, which will save the common man and will be able to buy more things of middle class. At the same time, the PM said that the GST reform will benefit the shopkeepers along with the middle class.

The country was trapped in different tax nets

In his address before the GST reform, the Prime Minister said that the countrymen and traders were trapped in different nets of tax, which do not know the entry tax, VAT, service tax. PM said that earlier, how many forms had to be filled when sending goods from one city to another in the country. He said that when the countrymen gave us an opportunity in 2014, we kept GST in our priority and GST was implemented in the country only by taking all the states and stake holders in confidence. Now the government is reforming GST in view of the current needs of the country and future plans.
